In a world full of problems and suffering – how do we protect ourselves? It is only through our misunderstanding of the real causes of happiness and suffering that we find it difficult to experience the kind of life that we want.
In this Retreat, we can learn how by relying on Buddha’s Teachings we can build within our mind the clarity and wisdom we need to overcome our personal problems and unlock the potential for permanent happiness from within our mind.
The first part of the Retreat (Friday-Sunday) will include teachings on the different aspects of Buddhist Refuge, as well as practical advice on how to approach a more structured meditation retreat. In the last part of the retreat, (Monday-Thursday) the session times will include more time for contemplation and meditation to deepen our understanding.
People are welcome to attend any or all retreat sessions throughout the week.
The cost is $3 per session, $10 a day, and $35 for the entire retreat.
