Simply Meditate Sundays
When our mind is calm and relaxed, it is very easy to deal with the multitude of daily stresses and challenges we are faced with. Through gaining experience with breathing meditation, we will find it easier and easier to maintain an inner tranquility and peace regardless of our external situation.
In these sessions a brief overview of how to do a breathing meditation is giving, followed by a 10 minute guided breathing meditation. An additional 10 minutes is allowed for personal meditation, either breathing or a meditation of you own choosing. You can sit in a chair during the session or you may bring a meditation cushion if you wish. This meditation session takes place at Lamrim Kadampa Buddhist Center in Davenport, Iowa in the Quad Cities.Healthy drinks and light snacks are provided after class.
