Meditation is a beautiful and practical way of finding inner peace, reducing stress and finding solutions to the problems of daily life.
Everyone in this world shares one simple, basic wish, to be happy. Often we ask ourselves “what will make me most happy?” We devote much energy and time to figuring out the answer to this question.
These classes will explain how within our mind lies an extraordinary potential for inner peace and happiness.
● Each class will include an explanation of the benefits of meditation and how to meditate followed by a 10-minute guided breathing meditation.
● A different aspect of Buddhism will then be explained followed by another meditation session.
● All the subjects taught are methods to help us cultivate and increase our positive states of mind that are condusive to well-being and happiness, as well as methods for removing negative states of mind that are the cause of anxiety, problems and stress.
● There will be time for Q&A.
● This is a "drop in" class so you do not need to pre-register or pay in advance
● We sit in chairs. You may bring a meditation cushion if you wish.
● Everyone is welcome, no experience is required
