Lamrim Kadampa Buddhist Center
Lamrim Kadampa Buddhist Center was founded in 2005 as a non-profit organization and member of the New Kadampa Tradition-International Kadampa Buddhist Union. This Buddhist tradition was brought from Tibet to the West by renowned meditation master and Buddhist scholar, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso is a fully accomplished meditation master and internationally renowned teacher of Buddhism. He has established three unique study programs and 1100 centers around the world, trained qualified teachers and a flourishing ordained community, and created a project to build Buddhist temples in every major city in the world.
The purpose of Lamrim Kadampa Buddhist Center In the Quad Cities is to help people learn practical methods on how to solve their daily problems and to live a happy and meaningful life. Through learning to integrate Buddha’s advice into our lives we can gradually become more and more successful in dealing with the difficulties we all experience. Eventually we will gain the strength and stability of mind to meet with life’s greatest challenges in very peaceful and positive ways.

Teacher-Joe Gauthier
Joe Gauthier is a Buddhist teacher in the New Kadampa Tradition at Lamrim Kadampa Buddhist Center in Davenport, Iowa. Joe has studied and taught in several locations throughout the world, including Manjushri Centre in England and at Buddhist Centers in Taiwan, Holland and Madison, Wisconsin. Joe is known and loved by his students for his intense faith in the BuddhaDharma, his extensive knowledge of the teachings and his ability to put Dharma in the context of everyday life.
